Voices for Children is our opportunity to come together, celebrate the incredible work done on behalf of Washington’s children each year, and rally ourselves for the important work ahead.
The luncheon features inspiring speakers, the Brewster C. Denny Rising Star Advocate awardee, and a room full of advocates for kids.
Keynote Speaker: Lieutenant Governor Cyrus Habib
Born in Maryland and raised in east King County, Habib is the son of immigrants and a three-time cancer survivor. He lost his eyesight to cancer at the age of eight.
Habib graduated from the Bellevue International School and went on to receive degrees from Columbia University, Oxford University as a Rhodes Scholar, and Yale Law School, before returning to Washington state, where he practiced law and served as a State Representative and State Senator. He was elected Lieutenant Governor in 2016.
The luncheon includes an option for a vegetarian/vegan/nut-free/gluten-free meal. You can select your meal on the next page when you register. Please contact Gillian Murphy if you have additional dietary restrictions.
Registration helps cover event costs. Guests are encouraged to make a suggested donation of $150.
We look forward to seeing you there.
